The Great Becoming

Chicago Tabernacle calls itself a place of becoming. On the Sunday after Christmas in 2021, Dr. Neely stood in that pulpit and opened John 1:1–18. This is the prologue to John's Gospel, where the eternal Word becomes flesh and makes His dwelling among us.

It is the passage the church returns to when it wants to say the hardest thing it believes: that the One who made everything entered what He made.
